There isn’t any way to avoid hurting his feelings (unless he isn’t interested in you either).
The only thing you can do is be honest: “Hey look i’m sorry, you’re cool and all but I just don’t think we really fit well together.” or “You’re a perverted disgusting jerk and nobody will ever love you.” You know… whichever is true.
