i dont know from experience about dating agencies. i do know how you feel. i have been basically single my whole life, and im 22. on my 22nd birthday i met a really great guy and i had previously felt like i was hopeless. if you think that you cant do it on your own, try the dating place, otherwise, give it time and it will work itself out and you might meet this girl next week!

Patience you will meet the right person when the time is right. Meanwhile there is no need to purchase affection. Just start behaving kindly to all people and as your circle of friends increases you will find that your opportunities with members of the opposite sex also increase. You’re not tired of being alone you’re just bored with yourself. Get out of yourself start doing some extracurricular things. Take up golf, bowling, tennis, hiking, courses in pottery, any number of things to make your life and you more interesting when you meet the lady of your dreams. If you’re bored with yourself now she will be bored with you when she meets you. Prepare yourself to be interesting to her. Get interested in your own life.

I too am a shy person. I go to the bars, no guys come up and talk to me. I’m not going to go up to them so I guess it’s just not going to go anywhere right??
