Girls: When is the best time to start dating guys?
Im just wondering b/c im 14 years old. And A LOT of girls already have been dating since they were in 5th or 6th grade. But not me yet. so when should i start dating a guy, or having a boyfriend? when im 16? 18? 15? what do YOU think? please tell me any comment or opinion you have on this. All answers are welcomed!

I think it’s cute to have a boyfriend/girlfriend when you are young, as long as it doesn’t get to serious. And of coarse the boy is close to your age.

You shouldn’t feel the need to start dating cos everyone else has. that would be a BIG mistake. Start dating when you feel responsible physically, emotionally and mentally ready.. whatever age that is.

There is no “best” time. Start dating whenever you feel ready and your parents are okay with it.

I am 44 years old it seems like yesterday when I was 14. I developed very young. My mother put me on birth-control before I had even kissed a guy. As a young woman I believe you should try to educate yourself. Learn how to protect yourself physically,mentally, and learn to be secure in your own skin. Make the rules; be independent. If you go by these rules in the beginning it will be easy to follow. Do not allow anyone to abuse you in any way.
So there is no age when you should start dating. Begin dating when you feel comfortable to date. Be aware, however, that dating can lead to sex which can mean children that can interfere with career and life choices.
