How can I make our first date special?
I have a girlfriend and we have been together for about a month now. As crazy as it may sound we have never been out on an actual date together. We made plans to go out on our first date next weekend and we are both very excited.
That said, what can I do to make our date more special? I do not wanna do anything that is over the top or too soon. But I do want to do something to make it special.

Flowers, but not too big.
Get dressed up.
Good meal.
Dancing, smiling, laughing.
Pretend it’s the first time you met, or just go with it and enjoy it.
Hold hands, link arms, that kind of stuff. Plenty of eye contact and open body language.
Make sure you open doors, rise from your seat when she does etc…

Awww, you’re sweet, she’s lucky.
Show up with a small bouquet of Flowers – nothing over the top, no red roses, no yellow roses.
Everyone loves to get actual mail – in the mailbox, not e-mail. Go out today and get a simple card that says something short & sweet, or even a cute picture on the front and blank inside – write a short sentence or two that just says how you can’t wait for the weekend and your date. She will LOVE it, and it will be a sweet memento to her.

Set the bar really low – Go to a medium-nice dinner (like PF Changs) and maybe get a bottle of wine (like a $10 Malbec) and put together a chocolate plate and go hang out in the park – Bring her flowers before hand (or better yet a wrist corsage – chicks love those)
If you set the bar too high you’re going to have to keep upping yourself… and if you see yourself with this woman in the long run that gets to be a pain in the wallet
