personally, i would rather get something personal and thoughtful because it would be something to remember my boyfriend by. then again, once we are no longer together, there would be no use for that item. where as with a romantic item, like jewwely, i would probably keep even if we broke up if it was real nnice, i would wear it again. hope this helps!
